EMI Records recently released "The Best Of" from THE QUIREBOYS, a double CD of material from the band's EMI-era recordings. It contains many previously unreleased tracks and rarities and is available at a budget price.
THE QUIREBOYS' new album, "Homewreckers & Heartbreakers", was made available in stores on June 23 via Townsend Records. The CD was mixed at Good Luck studios in London with Mark Wallis, who has previously worked with TRAVIS and U2. According to a posting on the group's web site, "this album sees the band returning to their roots with a more varied selection of styles than 'Well Oiled' [2004]. Songs recorded include 'Love This Dirty Town', 'One More For The Road', 'Mona Lisa Smiled', 'Take A Look At Yourself', '(She's Got The) Dirt On Me', 'Blackwater', 'Late Nite Saturday Call', 'Fear Within The Lie', plus more."
THE QUIREBOYS' first official DVD was released in February 2007. Entitled "Live at the Mean Fiddler, London: One More for the Road", the disc features footage from the group's performance at The Mean Fiddler in London, England.
